International Women’s Day 2021

Our International Women’s Day campaign 2021 called #CelebrateNominateDonate was a huge success thanks to TV and film star Nathalie Emmanuel.

In the first week of March, for International Women’s Day, we encouraged you to celebrate the person you are today by looking back at where you came from and who inspired you along the way.

The campaign reached over 70,000 people with a fundraising ask of just £5. A huge thanks goes to everyone who donated and spread the word about our mission this International Women’s Day.

Where did my £5 donation go?

Your donation will help a woman living in poverty in Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe to access business and financial literacy training. She will learn how to manage her finances, make a business plan and market her business which will give her the best possible chance for success.

As her business grows, she will have a reliable income. This will enable her to afford nutritious food, medicine and an education for her children, whilst scaling up and growing her business. Your donation will give her the chance to thrive as an entrepreneur and achieve her dreams.

Together we can empower women to lift their families and communities out of poverty.
