MicroLoan is supported by volunteers all over the world who are vital to our work. Our volunteering opportunities range from events stewarding, cheer teams and office work to volunteer boards, fundraising groups and field work in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Volunteering with MicroLoan is a great opportunity to learn more about our work and become part of the team. We are always looking for new people to support us and use their skills to further our mission. Being a MicroLoan volunteers means you’ll join #TeamMicroLoan – your responsibilities will vary depending on the specific volunteer role you take. We have had volunteers support us at events at the House of Commons, complete research and data collection in country, assist with fundraising bids and help maintain our CRM database.
Some of the volunteer opportunities based in our UK head office are long term positions that can suit someone who wanted to dedicate regular time to supporting our work.

We are currently recruiting a Social Media Marketing Volunteer. Applications close on May 10th 2021.
This is a role for an organised and driven self-starter, who can demonstrate skill in social media management and digital marketing. Working in a small communications team, your main responsibility will be driving growth in MicroLoan’s online audience. You will achieve this by supporting the Communications Lead with a range of digital marketing tasks such as community outreach and engagement on social media, scheduling social media posts, researching ideas for posts, and designing on-brand marketing materials. Should the individual show the desire and aptitude, there will be the opportunity to take on further marketing and communications responsibilities based on their skillset.
