Making Women Visible

When: November 10, 2020

Where: Online

Registration is now open!

‘Making Women Visible in Media’ is a virtual panel discussion with inspiring female leaders in media. The panellists will be sharing their own experience in the media industry, how they have challenged stereotypes and changed negative perceptions of women in print and on the screen.

This interactive event will give attendees a unique opportunity to be part of an open conversation about the obstacles and challenges that our panellists have faced while working to achieve a more fair and inclusive portrayal of women.

Tickets are £12 (+£1.52 Eventbrite fee). £12 is the cost of one woman’s agricultural training which will enable her to start a small business to feed her family. As part of our EmpowerHer campaign, each ticket you buy will empower a woman in sub-Saharan Africa to work their own way out of poverty.

The event takes place on 10th November at 7pm GMT.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our partners Smith & Williamson and Total Media for their generous support to make this event possible.

Who will you hear from?

Our panel includes trailblazers who are changing the face of the media space for women: Miranda Johnson, Deputy Executive Editor of The Economist, Juanita Rosenior, Managing Director of The Girl in the Red Glasses, and broadcaster and columnist, Nicola Bonn.

Our moderator is Victoria Pawsey, Senior Client Relations and Marketing Leader at EI Advisory.
