Dailess is 39 years old, and lives with her husband and four children in the Eastern Province of Zambia. With MicroLoan’s support, Dailess established a tailoring shop, which is providing her with essential income to send her children to school.
In August, Dailess requested a further loan from MicroLoan to continue expanding her business. She was hopeful that receiving a further loan and more training from MicroLoan would make paying for school fees more manageable, and help to ensure the family always have enough food. Via lendwithcare.org, Dailess was lent the £170.20 she requested from four different UK lenders, and is currently repaying this loan. Dailess is one of the many MicroLoan entrepreneurs UK lenders are supporting via this initiative.
