MicroLoan enjoys acknowledging the amazing success stories of our clients who as a result of our loans and training, have gone on to set up their own businesses to support their families. Furthermore, we feel it is great to share the success stories and experiences of our many volunteers, supporters and staff across the world who have seen for themselves the impact their work has in Africa. Littania and her fish business, the MicroLoan Foundation

What have you been able to buy / do as a result of your loan from the MicroLoan Foundation?

I have been able to buy larger quantities of fish from my supplier which has given me bigger profits. I have used this money to cultivate land, pay for school fees and start some livestock production.

How do you feel to be a business woman?

I am now more independent as I have my own income. This means that I am now able to send my children to school as well as help my elderly parents.

What plans do you have for the future?

I have lots of plans! I would like to have a butcher shop, build houses to rent and also become a commercial farmer.
