MicroLoan Foundation welcomes new Trustee

 We are delighted to welcome David Young as a Trustee of the MicroLoan Foundation.
David has considerable international business experience in the food, household and consumer goods sectors. He was previously Global President of Duracell Batteries and Chief Executive of an international food business.
His non-executive directorships have included companies in the retail, recruitment and life-sciences sectors and when living in the USA he was Trustee of a disability charity.
David Young said:
“I have followed the progress of the MicroLoan Foundation since its earliest days, and the elegant simplicity of its charity model is a real attraction. It is a concept that has to be explained just once and, most importantly, it works. MicroLoan is now entering a strong growth phase and I would like to help.”
