Good reasons to give... No one is excluded We
provide services to people who would otherwise be unbanked and, in
African terms, unbankable. Through running their own business, the
supply of basic necessities such as food, housing and supporting their
children’s education will all improve as a result of running their own
business. We support a ‘bottom-up’ approach to development We pro-actively encouraging women to help themselves so they do not
become dependent on charity. We recognize that assisting the people of
a country at grass-roots level is the most effective means for that
country to develop; they become less dependent on aid from developed
countries, and there is an increased responsibility to use ‘internal’
resources wisely.
